I believe not keep upgrading your TH but spam it. TH 8 is great because you get another victory statue so work towards that.

I agree I would go to town hall level 8 then get walls up to par.

If your try to keep up with everyone else, max out TH asap. Town hall should never not be upgrading, better loot, and defense to hold off the lord's leaguers.

Put 1 of your Builder for keep upgrading your Town Hall, because it needs a lot of time for finish it, that's why never miss your day by not Upgrading your Town Hall.

The rest of your builder can go to Upgrading Deffense Tower...

The only way I upgrade town hall is if my heroes are leveled high enough to raid resources effectively on my current town hall level.
