I learnt this little trick in the TW server

The more heroes you have deployed, the slower the flame/rage bar will go up

When starting a battle, place 1 hero as far away from the base as possible then wait till that hero reaches the base then deploy your other heroes, having 1 hero deployed for a certain amount of time will get your flame bar up alot more then if you were to deploy all heroes in at once

well, this did work in the early base. but not so much in the high level bases.

The Bar of Rage is moving with same speed with deploy of 1 hero / deploy 5 heroes at once.

You can say by deploying 1 Hero is more faster than deploy 5 heroes because when your hero reach enemy base, your Bar of Rage is at 3 or 4 so you can use the skill immediately rather than you deploy 5 heroes just right next to enemy base, you should wait for a while for the Bar of Rage.

F.Y.I... do experiment by using stopwatch or look carefully the movement of the Bar by deploying 1 hero at 1st battle and deploy 5 heroes at 2nd battle, you'll realize the movement of Bar is just same.

Or, i drop a level 1 hero back way off to the corner of the base, let it be killed and wait until i have full rage, than attack and almost always get a 3 star

This is untrue, doesn't matter how many heroes are deployed, rage stays at the same rate.  I have tested this over and over.

The only way to get more is to drop your heroes as far back as possible, but then you lose control of where you want your heroes to go.

I think the reason people think this is because once you have all 5 heroes and their troops deployed the game tends to lag slightly and slow down the timer.

Yeah rage going up at different speeds would be news to me.

I do the pop one hero down first, then pop the rest down at once, but its not to get more rage. Its so that the first hero (tank type hero) gets the attention of towers/heros first, then I put down the rest right in the action. Even if put down my 4 other heroes right on top of the enemy, the enemy will still go after my tank first even if he has to chase him down. He won't turn his attention until he kills whatever he's targeting.

This is very minor and situational, but here's my tip. if the enemy base has a building in the corner, away from the rest of the base, you can put your hero down not right in the corner, but in between the main base and the building. Put it slightly closer to the corner building. He'll backtract to the corner, then walk back to the base. Again its pretty situational and will usually only give like an extra 1-3 seconds depending on the base. But the bonus is if you draw the attention of an enemy hero and he follows you to the corner. Then you can fight him away from his other defenses.
